COMING SOON: The Blue and Brown Blog Bonanza!

They're throwing a party over at Cottage Instincts! Feel free to join us.

All you have to do is take a picture of your blue and brown room or your blue and brown project, or even your blue and brown outfit (I thought of it) and put it on your blog and jump right in and join the party!

See you there!

  1. Hey Jeanine! Thanks for advertising the party :) I'm getting seriously psyched to see everyone's blue and brown....

I'm told I'm an Enneagram 6 (my mom teaches it, and is also a Spiritual Director), and I'm a Type 1 in Carol Tuttle's Dressing Your Truth/Energy Profiling. I homeschool too!

    Nice to *meet* ya. :)

  2. Hi Cindy! How cool that your mom teaches the Enneagram. I should consult with her about four-nine relationships and managing passive-aggressiveness in someone else!

I am a spiritual director, too, by the way. I thought for a while that my son was a 6 and it still may be too soon to know for sure, but he behaves more like a four (intense drama).

I will have to check out Carol Tuttle!

And you homeschool, too? Do you do it year-round? I take summers off and then find that there is quite an adjustment when we get back into it in the fall.

    Great to meet you, too!

  3. Yep...we homeschool year round, but summers are just the bare minimum and lots of playtime. I blog about it here:

  4. Cindy, god bless you! You homeschool all year, huh? Just like that, instant admiration :).

I am SO glad you mentioned the Carol Tuttle thing!! I took the energy profile course last night and discovered that I am a type 2 (secondary 4, I believe, and for a while it seemed touch and go between the two). I have the piles and the bland (I mean, blended face) and I keep packaging sometimes and am into scrapbooking.

But like you, I often have more ideas than I know what to do with and sometimes do not have the follow through that I should.

Did you take the "dressing..." course? I am considering it.

I will visit your homeschooling blog today!
